She was born on 1 January 1942 in Alexandria, Egypt. She worked in Egyptian and Lebanese cinema. The film was directed by Hussein Helmy Al-Mohandes, who later married him and presented her in several films. Later she was accompanied by Kamal Al-Shennawi and married a Lebanese artist, Edwar Gergian, the brother of the late dancer Kigam.
